Not sure if I goofed or what

The suit looks great. The purple is vibrant and I was shocked to find the number, name, and flag was embroidered on. Customer service even worked with me to get me a three digit number on my suit.

But unfortunately I have an issue. I followed their size chart which said I should fit into a 2XL. I tried the suit on before race day and...can't zip it up. It doesn't fit right. Sadly this means I likely wasted my money on a 2x when I apparently need a 3x. Shame too, I was gonna debut it this weekend!
